  • Fully documented processes and procedures
  • Regular testing of security, backup, and disaster plans

SAS 70 Certification

These controls, processes, and procedures were developed in consultation with a major accounting/audit firm and the industry standard COBIT framework.  The controls have been documented, revised, and tested over several months, positioning WorkForce Software to obtain a Type I SAS 70 report in June 2007, and a Type II SAS 70 in October 2007.  Customers considering EmpCenter Online can do so confidently, secure in the knowledge that WorkForce Software’s environment will meet the most demanding requirements of your auditors. 

It is important to remember that auditors do not require a SAS 70 for an outsourced service.  Having a SAS 70 is simply a way to streamline their audit procedures.  If one is available, auditors can rely on the SAS 70 report vs. conducting their own review of the controls.  However, we can always provide our controls at any time for your auditors to review.  This will satisfy them and ensure a clean report for the purpose of Section 404 compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
